The Quest For Cheap Armatures is OVER!
For years I have searched for a way to make good models withought buying a machine shop, and my diligence has finally paid
off. Thanks to LEGOs, once again. I do declare, they do all the work for us, here at Proclamation Studios. They have a
new product in the BIONICLE line, which is a robot with fully articulated joints. From elboes to knees to his neck, nearly
everything moves just like it should. I had to modify it slightly. It required only three peices from my personal collection,
though they were rather unusual peices, it came almost completely ready to use. I took his head off and replaced it with
a Plasticine one i had made before, cut off some of the knobby bits that stuck out too far, dressed him up in a slightly altered
suit meant for Ken (TM) of Barbie (TM) fame, and i had a perfect model. Total price of about $15 or there abouts. I'll never
wind another wire model again.
Fully Automated Camera Movements, and it's HOME MADE!
Of course we cant get a new camera withought our older brother DAVID CHRISTENSEN making us a new stand for it. In the
beginning there was the Lamp Stand. A Costco® halogen lamp, with the lamp taken out and replaced with a camera. A great and
usefull tool, but not one that will work with the iSight.
Bust out the Legos. We're going to work.
The end result is quite a masterpiece It has to be the only Lego Sculpture in existence that actually has a practical
purpose. (except for that robot i made that one time that beeped when the waffles were done). Fully automated movements to
the left and right, up and down, and a boom that gives it further vertical movements alow for the camera to MOVE! MOVING
CAMERA! THE CAMERA GETS TO MOVE!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

And a very merry christmas it has been!
Of all the various trinkets and gifts that We, the member of Proclamation Studios have recieved (Including a shiny
new Slinky®), one will be extremely helpfull in the quest for whatever it is were questing for.
Santa has been generous enough to give us a new camera! Apple's iSight, meant for web-conferencing, is an excelent
little camera, and though it only claims to be of resoulution 640 by 480, it is believed to be higher than our previous webcam,
the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000, which claimed to claimed to get up to 1024 by 768, but by then the picture is so grainy that
you can't tell. No longer do we trust logitech.
The only drawback is that it only works with a FireWire connection, which my precious little laptop doesn't have.
Which means i have to use someone elses computer, which surely wont be as beutifully designed.
